Use Retinol to prevent aging
Retinol supports the production of horny cells and thus counteracts skin aging. In addition, the substance stimulates collagen formation. It is therefore obvious that retinol is found in many anti-aging products.
Visibly smoother skin
Retinol has several talents when it comes to reducing skin aging. On the one hand there is the effect in the upper part of the skin. The corneocytes, ie the horny cells, form the uppermost layer and at the same time decisively influence the visible skin structure.
Retinol for wrinkles
Retinol helps your body with the formation of corneocytes and can thus effectively reduce wrinkles. An important role is also played by collagen, which in the deeper layers of the skin is, so to speak, the supporting framework for the skin. A sufficient amount of collagen keeps the skin supple. By stimulating collagen production, retinol also counteracts skin aging in this way.
Retinol alone is not enough
As helpful as retinol is, it alone can not deliver the desired effect. It is therefore important to embed it in a care product with other ingredients. Every one of them has to do the skin well and support the goal of reducing skin aging. This is especially true for the preservatives in care products, but also for the cream base. It consists of petroleum for some products. Far more suitable, however, are natural solutions such as shea butter, which at the same time can serve as a fat supplier. A lecithin-based emulsion also absorbs and maintains the natural structure of the skin.
