Improve the structure of the skin with microdermabrasion
In microdermabrasion, the uppermost cell layers of the skin and keratinized areas are removed. The intensive exfoliation leads to immediately visible results and makes the skin look much younger. However, a thorough examination is required before the first treatment.
Intensive peeling with immediate effect
The microdermabrasion can be carried out by various methods, with diamond crystals or with corundum crystals. While in the first variant diamond-studded attachments abrade the top layers of the skin, the second variant works much like sandblasting. The skin is bombarded with fine crystals. In both cases, the practitioner removes the dead skin scales by means of a vacuum. The microdermabrasion stimulates the renewal of the skin, which looks much smoother and finer pores after the first application.
This is how the treatment works
Before microdermabrasion, the skin needs thorough cleansing. The eyes must be carefully covered. If you decide to take the treatment, you should first try the instrument at a location near the hairline. So you get an impression of what to expect. It is also possible to adjust the settings according to the sensitivity of your skin. You should feel the treatment of the skin clearly, but the application should not be painful. The treating person must take care that he smoothes wrinkled skin as much as possible during microdermabrasion. Only then can the process work optimally. When mouth and nose are on the line, you should try to avoid inhaling the crystals whenever possible.
Before you can have a microdermabrasion done, you must first complete a questionnaire. In particular, questions about possible pre-existing conditions of the skin await you here. For example, if you suffer from acne, acute or chronic skin diseases, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis or herpes, microdermabrasion is not recommended. The same applies to infectious skin diseases, warts and liver spots. If in doubt, you should consult your dermatologist.
